Bihar: Deputy CM Renu Devi does not agree with CM Nitish on population control - men are held responsible for increasing population
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Renu Devi have a different opinion on population control. The opinion of both on this issue is not getting from each other at all. CM Nitish Kumar says that it is very important for women to be educated for population control. So the same Deputy CM Renu Devi says that men need to be more aware for population control.
After the release of the new population control policy in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar has given a big statement on this issue. He said on Monday that it is more important for women to be educated to control the growing population. He said that if women are educated, then awareness will increase in them and she herself will think about population control.
Deputy CM's different opinion on population control
At the same time, Deputy Chief Minister Renu Devi did not seem to agree with the views of CM Nitish. He issued a written statement saying that men need to be more aware to reduce the fertility rate. He said that the increasing population can be reduced only with the understanding of men. He said that there is a lot of fear among men regarding sterilization in many districts of Bihar. In many districts, only 1% of the people get vasectomy done.
Renu Devi held men responsible
Deputy CM Renu Devi said that husband and in-laws pressurize women to have more children. Due to this the family becomes very big. He said that there is a need to end the discrimination between women and men to control the population.
