The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh passed the Population Control Bill on Sunday. Regarding which Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has given a big statement. He said on Monday that not only by making laws regarding population control, but by educating women completely, the fertility rate can be reduced.
Regarding the population control law, CM Nitish said that any state should do whatever it wants to do. But we think that only for population control, if you only want to take measures by making laws. it's not possible.

During this, giving the example of China, he said that look at any country, what is the situation. We understand that when women are fully educated, the fertility rate itself will decrease. The Chief Minister said that the special attention we have given to the education of girls in Bihar. Its result is now visible. In Bihar, the fertility rate was above four, which has come down to three now. We understand that this situation will not be there until 2040 and after that the fertility rate itself will start decreasing. We are working on this plan.
The Chief Minister said that many people feel that only a law will be made and the population will be controlled. That is his thinking. Our thinking is that it is most important for women to be educated, not just by law. Nitish told that there are many such examples that even educated people give birth to many children. This is everyone's own opinion. Regarding equal civil code, Nitish said that why not only this law but also prohibition of liquor should be done across the country.
