Jaipur. Congress's Rajasthan unit president and school education minister Govind Singh Dotasara has sent two more relatives to the Rajasthan Administrative Service ( RAS).) on Wednesday termed the controversy raised over being selected in social media as propaganda and said that the RAS exam is conducted in a very transparent manner and only capable children are successful in it. Dotasara's statement comes amid discussions on social media after his daughter-in-law's sister and brother got selected in the RAS. When asked about this here, he said, “RAS is a very prestigious recruitment examination of Rajasthan. This examination is conducted by Rajasthan Public Service Commission with transparency. Only those children who are capable are successful in this examination.” He said, “Along with the board members, experts also sit in the interview and after all the process, the contestants become RAS. Talented children achieve their status by preparing for RAS, no politician has anything to do with it.
In fact, in the recently released result of RAS examination, sister and brother of daughter-in-law of Dotasara have been selected. Both have 80- 80 marks in the interview. Earlier in 2016, his daughter-in-law also had 80 marks in the interview. There is a lot of discussion on social media about this. To this Dotasara said, "I understand that it should not be a matter of who gets how many marks. Because the interview is for only 100 marks. Before that one has to clear pre and main exam. The interview is held after the main examination." Congress state president said, "Being a relative or knowing someone, neither do we get marks in the interview nor do we get numbers in the written examination, it is only on social media. He said that there is no basis for this controversy, people who are not selected, they run such propaganda.
Dotasara said that if he had run in this examination, he would have made all the people of his assembly constituency and the rest of the family members as RAS. He said, "My son Avinash passed out in 2016 and became RAS. When my daughter-in-law became RAS, her relationship did not happen. When I became a daughter-in-law, it was the rule of the BJP." It is noteworthy that Deputy Leader of Opposition (BJP) in the Assembly Rajendra Rathod also took a dig at this by tweeting. While sharing the photos of all the three mark sheets, he wrote, "When power comes with itself, the participant also brings along and the result too." Whether this is a coincidence or an experiment, only God knows. I don't know what will happen when.
