Swami Anand Giri, who came under the police radar after the suspicious death of Mahant Narendra Giri, president of Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad and secretary of Niranjani Akhara on Monday, has been taken into custody by Prayagraj police. The team of Saharanpur Police and SOG reached Prayagraj in the afternoon on Tuesday, taking Anand Giri into custody from Haridwar Police.

The team of Saharanpur Police and SOG under the leadership of CO Deoband Rajneesh Upadhyay reached Prayagraj by taking Anand Giri from Saharanpur by road. After this Prayagraj Police team took Swami Anand Giri in their custody. The Prayagraj Police team has kept Swami Anand Giri in the police line under the supervision of the Crime Branch team. A case was registered against Swami Anand Giri in the Georgetown police station of Prayagraj on Monday night for abetting the suicide of Mahant Narendra Giri.

In Prayagraj, since Tuesday afternoon, Swami Anand Giri is being questioned in the police line. Police officers are questioning Anand Giri. During this, some people came to meet Anand, who were strictly returned. Earlier on Monday night itself, the priest of the monastery, Adya Tiwari and her son Sandeep Tiwari were detained in Prayagraj. Whose name is also in the suicide note. Considering all three as prime suspects, the police have taken them into custody because of their names in the suicide note. Meanwhile, ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar told that Anand Giri has been brought to Prayagraj. Police took Anand into custody from Haridwar at night and took him to Saharanpur district. After this, after reaching Prayagraj in the afternoon, he was given in the custody of Prayagraj Police. The Prayagraj Police has kept Anand Giri under the supervision of the Crime Branch of Police Lines.

His great disciple Anand Giri is on the police radar in connection with the suspicious death of Mahant Narendra Giri in Prayagraj on Monday. Haridwar's SP City Kamlesh Upadhyay had kept Swami Anand Giri in his custody late on Monday evening. After this, after talks with the DGP of Uttarakhand DGP Mukul Goyal, it was decided to hand over the Saharanpur Police and the SOG team. Saharanpur CO Deoband Rajneesh Upadhyay took Anand Giri into custody from Haridwar. Haridwar's SP City Kamlesh Upadhyay told that Uttar Pradesh Police had reached Haridwar late at around 10 pm. The Haridwar police had already kept Anand Giri under house arrest at the ashram. During this, the Uttar Pradesh Police team has detained Anand Giri after one and a half hours of interrogation. After being taken into custody, the Saharanpur police team reached the Saharanpur police line in the night itself. Uttarakhand Police since Monday evening on the information of Mahant's death Swami Anand had reached the ashram of Giri's Kangri Ghaziwali and was under house arrest. At around 10.30 pm, the team of UP Police's Saharanpur SOG reached and took them into custody after interrogation in a closed room.

After the death of Mahant Narendra Giri in Prayagraj, a suicide note was found by the UP Police. In which he told his disciple Anand Giri as the cause of death. Only after that the police were treating him as a suspect. A case has been registered against Anand Giri in Prayagraj for abetting the suicide of Mahant Narendra Giri. ADG LO Prashant Kumar had directed Saharanpur SSP to take Anand Giri into custody as Saharanpur of the state is adjacent to Haridwar bordering Uttarakhand.

In the city of Kanpur, when the cows roaming destitute are caught, they are kept in the temporary cow protection center located in Panki B block. Here the responsibility of taking care of the cows rests with the Municipal Corporation. Cases of negligence in the maintenance and food of cattle have come to the fore many times in the past. A similar heart-wrenching case came to light on Tuesday when the employees of the center were carrying three dead cows in a dumpster hiding in the middle of a heap of cow dung. Meanwhile, dozens of activists including district cow protection chief Vivek Dwivedi, district coordinator Naresh Singh Tomar, Rohit Singh, Rahul Raj, Ashish Srivastava, Vimal Pal, Gyanu started a ruckus. The workers got the dead cows out by opening the vehicle laden with cow dung.

He alleged that the employees of the conservation center do not give treatment to the sick animals and this leads to their death. The dead cows are thrown between the dung heaps, hidden in the vehicles and thrown outside. More than half a dozen animals in the center have been found in sick and dying condition. Panki police station inspector Dadhibal Tiwari said that the police had reached the spot as soon as the information about the uproar was received. The workers associated with Gauseva had taken out the dead cows from a vehicle laden with cow dung and kept them on the road. The dead cows have been sent by another vehicle.
