Why is the Siddha Bali Temple so well-known?

Because Guru Gorakhnath, who is believed to be the Kaliyuga incarnation of Shiva Ji, achieved Siddhi here and is known as Siddhababa, the Siddha Bali temple is well-known, and many go here to meet Baba.

Understand the temple’s secret

According to the Gorakh Purana, Pawanputra Bajrang Bali ordered Guru Machhendranath, the disciple of Guru Gorakhnath, to partake in the delights of the home ashram with Queen Mainakani, the head of the realm of women. After learning of this, Guru Gorakhnath embarked on a mission to liberate his Guru from the realm of women.

Here, Bajrang Bali transformed into a different entity and obstructed Guru Gorakhnath’s progress. After that, the two engaged in a bloody combat. After neither of them was able to beat the other, Bajrang Bali took on his true form and, impressed by Guru Gorakhnath’s penance abilities, begged him to request a boon.

In order to safeguard him, Guru Gorakhnath asked Hanuman ji to remain here. This location was given the name “Siddhbali” as a result of Guru Gorakhnath and Bajrang Bali Hanuman ji, and Pawanputra Hanuman continues to serve as a guardian for the followers here to this day.
