The Hindu Temple

The only temple of Lord Rama is located in Chhatarpur, where he is in Ajanubahu form

Ajanubahu Sarkar Temple: In the Chhatarpur district’s Janarai Tauria, there is a historic temple dedicated to Ram Ji that is almost 600 years old. This is the sole temple of Ram Ji in the district where Lord Shri Ram is by himself, according to Mahant Bhagwan Das Maharaj of Nirmohi Akhara Janrai Toria Azan Bhuj Sarkar. Here, Ram ji had also stretched his arms in rage. Ajnabahu or Ajnabhuj, was the name given to this enraged manifestation of Ram ji. In this form, Lord Shri Ram is seated here.

Sage Mountain

Ram ji resided at the Panna region’s Sutikshan Ashram. As they were leaving, they saw a heap of bones and inquired of the saints about it. The saints informed them that sages and sages were slaughtered in this location. It’s a heap of bones. When Ram ji heard this, he decided to liberate the world and extend his arms. Ajnabahu or Ajnabhuj, was the name given to this enraged manifestation of Ram ji.

Khar-Kushan demon murdered

After killing the weed demon, Ram Ji instructed Bhai Laxman and Sita to travel to Gir Kandar since that is where the demons congregate. Only Ram ji was capable of defeating monsters like Khar-Dushan at that time. The gods then worshipped them and yelled flowers. The only person seated here is Ram Ji, because Ram ji was left alone at that moment. As a result, Ram ji is sitting alone in this Chhatarpur district temple, which is unique among temples worldwide.

The Temple’s Idol is Composed of Stone

Guru Narhar Das was Goswami Tulsidas’s uncle around 1440 AD. It was his Guru, Bhai Haridev Das. In a dream on a hill, Haridev Das Ji Maharaj discovered this idol of Ram Ji, which he brought and preserved here. It was founded here because they stayed put. For thirteen generations, the unidentified Bhuj temple has been served by Shri Mahant Bhagwant Das.

This is where the Aajan Bhuj form is Mentioned

The seventh sentence of praise for Ramji and Ramcharit Manas also describes Ramji’s Aajan Bhuj form. It is evident from this that Ramji used to be angry. He only appears in the form of Chhatarpur.
